Alturas wildlife sanctuary
Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary is dedicated to the protection and conservation of Costa Rica’s wildlife. To accomplish this, they provide wildlife rehabilitation, environmental education and implement wildlife research. You can book a tour and see the sanctuary and their projects. They have a wide variety of animals including: spider monkeys, capuchin monkeys, sloths, anteaters, raccoons, parrots, toucans, raptors, porcupines, and kinkajous.

Marino Ballena National Park (Whaletail)
From the main entrance of the National Park, you will experience the hike around the beach and mangrove, surrounded of amazing landscapes and animals like howler monkeys, white face monkeys, sloths, reptiles, lots of different birds and many more. Could be combined with Kayaking or Snorkeling at the beach.


Surf (Lessons)
The area has many good waves to offer, from beginner waves in the Dominicalito bay till more advanced surfspots at the beaches of playa Hermosa, Dominical and la Punta. When you are more experienced, we can give you advice on where to go or if it would be on your bucket list to learn how to surf, we can organize surf lessons with registered surf schools in the area.

From Dominicalito beach there are tours for whale watching and fishing tours where to find whales, dolphins and fish, all around the Bahia Ballena bay.

Santa Lucia falls mountain hiking
Hike high into the mountains, through old-grown forest, following pristine rocky rivers to 3 waterfalls including 200 ft. high Santa Lucia falls. Bilingual guides provide expert wildlife spotting, local history and stories of growing up and farming on the mountain. The experience ends with cliff jumping, swimming and a freshly prepared locally grown delicious lunch.

Nauyaca Waterfalls
Nauyaca Waterfalls are one of the biggest attractions of the area for its natural beauty, they are formed by two waterfalls of approximately 45 and 20 feet high, also they have a pool of about 6 meters deep and 1000 square feet in size, but there are also other smaller pools for children.

Eco Chontales Waterfall
Eco Chontales, a paradisiacal waterfall surrounded by jungle, hidden between Dominical and Pérez Zeledón, which incidentally is a paradise of waterfalls and crystal clear rivers.


Manuel Antonio National Park
With the establishment of Manuel Antonio National Park in 1972, the people of Costa Rica decided to preserve, for future generations, one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse areas in the world. Although it is the country’s smallest national park, the stunning beauty and diversity of wildlife in its 683 hectares is unequaled.
Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of the rain forest, beaches and coral reefs. These beaches are the most beautiful in the country, lined with lush forest, and the snorkeling is excellent too. The forest is a home for sloths, iguanas, the rare and adorable squirrel monkeys, white-faced monkeys and millions of colorful little crabs. The trail that wind around Punta Catedral feature some spectacular views. The park is easy to reach, south of the town of Quepos.

Baru nature reserve
Five tropical nature trails and exciting ecological experiences. For wildlife sightings walk slowly, be alert and keep quiet. Most of these trails are flat and easy to manage, but extremely full of wildlife and natural beauty.

Horse Back riding Rancho la Merced

Chocolate Tour

Uvita Bamboo forest
This mature bamboo forest is just on the edge of the Uvita town and therefor very easy to access, next to it is a big river that has many little waterfalls and natural swimming pools. Fantastic to walk upstream on the rock and discover your own little natural pool.
